Assignment 1:
Contact Sheet with Photos
Students will take photos using the compositions discussed in the presentation. Students will upload a document that includes 30 or more images that they have taken. Take more than 30 and select your best images for the assignment.

Assignment 2:
Blog Post
Using Edgar Payne's Theory of Composition, students will take 15 photos around the campus that exemplify each compositional structure.
Students will upload their best 15 photos to a new blog post, labeling each image according to its corresponding compositional structure. In 200 words, discuss your understanding of Edgar Payne's Theory, why it is important, what you learned, and what you might do with it in the future.
Learning Target:
I can take 15 photos that explore Payne's theory of composition.
I can discuss and explain my understanding of the benefits of composition.
Criteria for Success:
Achieve unity in a composition.
